The teenager was inspired by his model at the time, Sandile Zungu, president of the Zungu Investments Company Limited, an investment company in various sectors such as financial services, mining, gaming, publishing. books and the media.
A graduate in science from the University of Cape Town with a master’s degree in business administration, Zungu notably helped create a global leadership program for Harvard University.

“I said to myself: if he can do it, why can’t I? Says Shezi, who, after having achieved great success in muffin sales, launched into the clothing trade by selling items from door to door. The young boy then decides to stop his studies – against the advice of his parents who are both teachers – to devote himself entirely to trading. He uses his tuition fees as a starting point.

From cake seller to multimillionaire

While he has put his studies on hold, Shezi trained through the internet and discovered a passion for risky betting. Very quickly he manages to make himself known on the currency market with risky bets that revolve around 4 million US dollars.

With his friend George van der Viet, he founded Global Forex Institute, a training and trading company based in Durban. Its goal is to offer almost free training on the fundamentals of brokerage and capital investment. Interviewed by CCTV Africa, Sandile Shezi explains that “the objective is to make people understand when is the best time to buy, the best time to sell and how to avoid losing capital. I want to make sure that as many people as possible know enough about trading. ”

Sandile Shezi, the soul of a philanthropist

Drawing on her experience, which has not been without its pitfalls, Shezi wants to help all young South Africans who have projects that they cannot finance. With this initiative, the 23-year-old hopes to help reduce unemployment, which is a major problem in South Africa, and then allow others to live their dreams as he lived his own.
On the other hand, Shezi is also a generous donor to the ANC (African National Congress), a ruling party that defends the interests of blacks in South Africa.

“The road to success is never easy. In the same way you need air to breathe, it is in the same way you must want success “, by Sandile Shezi.
