The Entreprenarium Foundation inaugurates the first edition of its flagship program BFR (Booster les Femmes Résilientes) for 100 women entrepreneurs in Gabon, Rwanda and Senegal. It also announces the funding of 30 projects with high growth potential in these three pilot countries.
Designed by the Entreprenarium Foundation, the BFR is a 6-week program intended to support women in their entrepreneurial journey. The main objective is to equip these women with the skills and resources necessary to help them succeed in the creation and development of a small or medium-sized enterprise. This first edition of the BFR launched on March 8 in the three pilot cities of the Entreprenarium Foundation in Libreville, Kigali and Dakar has 100 participants with innovative projects to develop. The program consists of course sessions and workshops focused mainly on the Lean Startup methodology, on innovation, as well as management and business creation techniques. With the BFR, the Entreprenarium Foundation offers a practical approach that will allow participants to acquire solid knowledge on each of the proposed themes. The program includes interactive exercises to consolidate their newly acquired knowledge with practical application.
The methodology taught allows a rapid adaptation of any offer to real demand or to pivot if necessary towards a different economic model dictated by the market. This method has the advantage of minimizing the costs of setting up production and reducing the risk of failure of SMEs, so it is perfectly suited to African markets.
At the end of their training, the beneficiaries of the program must be able to:
clearly state their business models;
to develop a minimum viable product or service on the market;
assess the company’s real income-generating capabilities;
to develop and maintain a real customer base, among others.
Entreprenarium is a pan-African foundation dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship with offices in Libreville, Kigali and Dakar. The foundation was created in July 2014 by Ms. Kristine Ngiriye, Rwandan citizen, herself a serial entrepreneur, who is committed to providing support to women and young entrepreneurs on the African continent through concrete projects and programs. related.
