Moses Ngobeni, a Nigerian municipal electrician, assembled a remote-controlled sports car from his smartphone, combining parts from other vehicles and using used metal. He started assembling his car in 2013, based on sketches made in 1994, when he was only 19 years old. At 41, Moses gives substance to his old dream. With a BMW 318 engine and the headlights of a Nissan GTR Skyline, the “patchwork vehicle” is completely soundproofed.

The vehicle body was entirely constructed from used metal purchased on the local market. The interior of the vehicle was also designed using local materials. However, it’s not the most impressive. Moses Ngobeni has equipped his car with a system that allows him to start and control it remotely from his smartphone.

The result completed a few months ago, a sports car with two seats, evokes in all points the cars straight out of a racing game. The vehicle became famous on social media when Moses Ngobeni had it transported to a police center for registration. Unwilling to drive it before registration, the Nigerian hired a truck to transport the car to the police station. It was the driver of the truck, very impressed with the vehicle, who posted photos of it on his Facebook account, photos that have gone viral on the internet …

After the first kilometers made by the vehicle, its creator announced that its maximum speed was 250 km / h. Moses Ngobeni has announced that he is going to tackle another of his dreams: building a helicopter.

CEO AfrikaTech

Rejoignez-nous ! LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/boubacardiallo
