Created by Alpha Nury, Jamaafunding is a crowdtiming platform (funding projects by donating time and money) dedicated to solidarity, social, innovative and economic development projects around the world. Their mission is to create synergies between actors in the solidarity world and promote the exchange of skills.

Introduce yourself and your background

Hello, my name is Alpha Nury, after doing a preparatory class, I joined INSEEC Paris where I completed a master’s degree in International Management and Corporate Finance. I have worked for a few multinationals including Apple, L’Oreal and Chanel.

What is your project and its mission?

Jamaafunding is the first crowdtiming platform: a platform where project leaders (individuals, associations, startups) can collect time and / or money for free. In addition to that, we provide them with financial and communication consulting services.

How did you get the idea for your business?

I have always been interested in entrepreneurship, whether it is starting an NGO or being president of the BDE of INSEEC. For me, this was a logical continuation in my journey and in the experiences I want to live.

What is the problem solved by JAMAAFUNDING?

What we are trying to tackle are the funding problems encountered by project leaders in Africa and around the world.

What are the next steps ?

Right now we have been able to help over 10,000 people, the idea is to increase that number to 100,000 by 2020.

About The Author

CEO AfrikaTech

Rejoignez-nous ! LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/boubacardiallo
