The launch of Attijariwafa Bank’s “Smart Up” Group Open Innovation Program is scheduled for May 19, 20 and 21 with the organization of an international Hackathon. Five countries are concerned: Morocco, Tunisia, France, Ivory Coast and Senegal.

A unique opportunity for the ecosystem of start-ups, developers, incubators, designers, etc., to produce innovative solutions around the theme chosen for this first edition: “Know your colleagues, Know your customer, Know your banker”.

The best projects will be awarded and supported in the following way:

– Local Jury Prize: The winning teams will be awarded prizes and may enter a 5-week incubation cycle.

– International jury prize: the best innovative solutions selected will be supported by the Attijariwafa bank Group within the framework of win-win partnerships. They will be offered by Attijariwafa bank a 2-week immersion in one of the world’s best acceleration devices, the BlackBox program at Silicon Valey in the USA.

This interest in start-ups, a component of the Attijariwafa bank “Energies 2020” strategic plan, has placed the theme of innovation at the heart of the group’s vision through a co-construction approach that started during the digital strategy seminar held on October 5 and 6, 2016, and which made it possible to identify the main lines of the Innovation process. The international program revolves around the structuring of a technological watch of the start-up ecosystem, the creation of an innovation lab and the organization of road shows and innovation hackathons. at Group level.
