I was tired of making excuses and being scared. In 2017, you no longer need to be the son of a millionaire to start a business. So I created my box with an investment of 99 euros! Here is my recipe in 3 steps.
It was last April that I made this choice. That of stopping being a “wannabe entrepreneur”. Not to dream of starting my own business anymore, but to really do it. I quit my well-paid job and the large tower of this CAC 40 company located on the Esplanade de la Défense side. I started selling jewelry with my big sister by distributing South African women’s beads on the Internet on my Ikhaya Mossy site.
My relatives were very stressed, especially my mother! For her, starting a business requires starting capital. Then you need a host. I chose HostGator which comes highly recommended.
In the end, I paid 58 euros for my domain name and for hosting my site for a year. And it took me 30 minutes
Step 2: build the site with WordPress (cost: 0 euros!)
Now that I have a domain name and hosting, it’s time to build the site. I recommend the WordPress platform which powers 25% of sites in the world. It’s a fantastic tool, used by huge sites like the New York Times
