A $ 10 million nationwide program for Ghanaian startups has just been launched by Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo, a statement released Thursday (July 13) read.
This program aims to stimulate private sector growth in the early stages of business life, in order to accelerate job creation and provide young Ghanaian entrepreneurs with much-needed alternatives to develop their own businesses.
Thus, Ghanaian startups will be able to receive financial and economic development services in order to secure their markets during their beginnings. “I am confident that this program will serve to deliver what it promises to young people,” said the President.
For the Ghanaian head of state, the goal is for initial funding to be mobilized to raise funds from private sources and public institutions, in the amount of approximately $ 100 million, to finance this program.
