Met at the first edition of the Technology and Innovation Fair in Lomé (STIL), Benissan Tété Jeunet Togolese, 19 years old, has already embarked on green entrepreneurship in West Africa with its solar incubator. This invention, dedicated to the service of the general interest of the breeders in Togo and in Africa, will be able to gain enough followers in the sub-region.

Sure of this craze, Benissan Tété has manufactured a machine to increase the number of poultry in Togo. “It is due to the need felt by my mother not to be able to raise her chickens well that the idea came to me to make a solar incubator that helps farmers in Togo especially those who are in the most remote countries can raise poultry without experiencing the need to use electricity. He tells Green-to-Go when he meets at the first edition of STIL.

And to continue “What also motivated me is the cost of buying electricity that is dear to his farmers in remote farms in the country. And it is to replace this electric energy that I I have thought of solar energy which, apart from making them save their money, it also protects our environment. This incubator, whose first prototype I was able to make, can close 300 eggs in 21 days. ”

“To realize the installation, I used not too sophisticated materials for lack of means and it must have cost me 250 000 F CFA, currently with the solar panels that I had to integrate it will enhance the financing since before, it was an incandescent lamp that was used for experimentation, but with the heat it tends to burn. I planned a heater resistant. He says.

Fresh out of High School Technical Education Lome (ATEL-L) with his tray F3 solar poche.L’incubateur earned the young Tete, 3rd prize “J ‘Innov” sponsored by the Togolese Ministry of Higher Education and Research.

CEO AfrikaTech

Rejoignez-nous ! LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/boubacardiallo
