Located in Calavi, 500 meters on the left in the street opposite FECECAM, WaDjoko is a new coworking space, launched on February 12, 2016. Its warm, design and friendly premises were imagined for entrepreneurs, freelancers or people looking for an office for a few hours or a few months. What is a coworking space? It is a workplace that brings together two concepts: a shared workspace, but also a network of workers encouraging exchange and openness. It is an ecosystem that becomes an alternative for those who encounter difficulties at the start of their projects, to find (rent) an office, equip it properly and benefit from support (technical and / or financial). The same principle applies to those who have just opened their doors in Calavi. Called WaDjoko which means in Yoruba language “Come sit down”, this space was initiated by the Benin-Ghanaian Sylvanus Kwame Diogo. “Finding an office and equipping it is quite difficult and even amounts to an obstacle course for all young entrepreneurs; the means to afford it being limited, even non-existent. As a result, working from home (garage, living room, bedroom, etc.) has become an alternative, a solution certainly, but one that isolates from physical contact. It is from this observation that WaDjoko was born, “said Yasmine Jacquet, Space Lead, at the launch. WaDjoko is fundamentally characterized by its hybrid aspect, through the diversity of skills and knowledge of its members, improbable exchanges, cultures and actors, united around the values of solidarity, mutual aid, sharing, trust. , respect and cooperation, to advance (together) projects. Open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the space has: – an open space with an area of 42 m2, air-conditioned, friendly and bright that can hold up to 20 people; – a private office with an area of 15 m2, air-conditioned, for your interviews and meetings in private. It can hold 4 people; – a meeting room with an area of 13 m2, air-conditioned, comfortable and fully equipped that can hold 8 to 12 people; – a conference room with an area of 80 m2, air-conditioned and fully equipped, which can hold 20 to 40 people; – a dining room with an area of 18 m2, kitchen area for dining, relaxation area for exchanges over a drink, space also equipped. CEO AfrikaTech

Rejoignez-nous ! LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/boubacardiallo
