This bookstore was born from the joint initiative of the New African Digital Editions (NENA) and a dozen partners, players in the African publishing and book world. The African Digital Bookshop, created in December 2013, consecrates the entry of Africa into the culture of digital books.

The website dedicated to this digital bookstore allows you to carry out all the traditional operations possible in a virtual bookstore: search for titles, purchase, download books in the electronic format of your choice, or order the paper format, the African Digital Bookstore has nothing to envy to other online bookstores. The ambition of its creators is to strengthen the presence of African books on the web and in the world of digital books. The AfriqueITNews news site reports that the platform was produced in Senegal, by a company called SENTICAD. With a catalog of 120 digital publications at its launch, the bookstore intends to quickly increase the volume of titles available, thanks to co-publishing partnerships between the NENA and other African publishers. In the meantime, the various categories of the Digital Library, novels, stories, poetry, development of Africa, law, taxation … already offer a wide range of choices to the reader.

The creation of the African Digital Library (www.librairienumeriqueafricaine.com) carries the potential of several thousand African works accessible to African and non-African readers.

CEO AfrikaTech

Rejoignez-nous ! LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/boubacardiallo
