Gooyave is a startup that is developing a white-label mobile application allowing travel professionals to provide personalized recommendations for practical information or purchases throughout their clients’ stay.
With the coming advent of personal assistants (Alexa, Cortana, Jarvis, Siri, etc.), our interaction with information available on the internet and personal assistants like Samantha (from the SPIKE JONZE movie HER) will become our personal Google. The objective for Gooyave is therefore to develop a personal travel assistant, the entry point for travel-related requests.
The Gooyave team currently includes a developer and two mentors on the datascience part.
Gooyave counts among its investors Xavier Niel (Free), Jacques-Antoine Granjon (Vente-privee)
and Marc Simoncini (Meetic) and Pole Capital.
Gooyave was part of the 2017 batch of the Startup School of YCOMBINATOR (Incubator having launched
Airbnb, Dropbox, Stripe, Docker, Optimizely, Mixpanel, etc.)
Duration & Date
The duration of the internship is 4 to 6 months from September 1, 2017.
Profile & Remuneration
Profile sought a developer with knowledge in React Native and NodeJS.
The remuneration is 1,000 euros per month.

Prerequisites

– Comfortable with a very changing environment (Customers don’t always know what they want)
– Comfortable with work on weekends (punctually and of course compensated)
– Enjoying Pop / Rock and Hip-Hop music, great food and crappy jokes! ”
Most :
– Minimum 1 year experience as a fullstack RN or JavaScript developer or having carried out 2 projects in React Native or JS + API.
– Good level in JS and object oriented language
– Knowledge in the following industries: Transport (air, rail, etc.), Hospitality, Tourism, Travel
– Interest in AI, machine learning, NLP
Location
The work is done in remote / Work-from-home as well as one or 2 days a week in Paris 75016 (Metro boissière) with the founder.
