The city of Casablanca is hosting, on April 7 and 8, the 4th edition of the investment and entrepreneurship fair in Africa “HUB Africa” ​​under the theme “Entrepreneurship as an accelerator of the continent’s economic emergence” , the organizers announced on Thursday in Casablanca.

This meeting, placed under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, will be marked this year by the holding of nearly 60 conferences and workshops and more than 900 B to B meetings, said the organizers at a conference of press for the presentation of the 4th edition of HUB Africa.

Organized by Maroc Export and NGE Impact under the aegis of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, the 2016 edition of this platform dedicated to investors and companies on the African continent will also be marked by the choice of Senegal as the country of honor .

The organizers count on nearly 100 exhibitors and more than 5,000 visitors, including economic players from several African and European countries, business leaders, entrepreneurs, project leaders, suppliers, buyers, bankers, experts and consultants.

Speaking on this occasion, Zouhair Triki, secretary general of Maroc Export, stressed that this event aims to encourage African entrepreneurs and leaders to develop their business in order to promote the economic emergence of the continent.

The fair also aims to focus on South-South cooperation through conferences and B2B meetings, he added.

For its part, Zakaria Fahim, director of the exhibition “HUB Africa”, said that the 2016 edition aims to highlight the importance of public-private partnership which demonstrates the relevance of sustainably mobilizing efforts and resources on the development of SMEs and young people, both nationally and internationally.

He added that this event will also focus on ways to encourage the creation of businesses in African countries and the strengthening of the presence of African businesses on an international scale.

On the menu of this event is the holding of the “HUB Africa Awards 2016” ceremony, an evening intended to celebrate and distinguish the exceptional players in the entrepreneurial sphere on the African continent.
