The Yeesal Agri Hub project was born out of a joint reflection of many young professionals in the Senegalese agricultural sector. Its objective is to stimulate the necessary innovation in the agricultural sector through ICT, by enabling young people to offer modern solutions to the problems of agriculture.
The launch of the project, which took place during this month, gave rise to conferences bringing together agricultural specialists in the Thiès region. The themes addressed, far from being theoretical, will make it possible to tackle the problems of the Senegalese primary sector. This is access to land, the marketing of local products and the management of the milk value chain. This project is also based on strong public-private collaboration. In addition, more than 50 guests from both the private and public sectors are expected to attend the launch conferences. Confirmed entrepreneurs will also be present at these workshops to allow young people to benefit from their experience.
