In Kenya, as in many African countries, traffic accidents are a real drama that the start-up Ma3Route refuses to consider as inevitable. Launched in late 2012 in Nairobi by Stephane Eboko, it has set up a web and mobile platform that offers safe solutions on the roads.
“Ma3Route provides precise, objective and real-time information on traffic conditions on the roads via its mobile application, its website and its relays on social networks”, explains Eboko. The start-up has in fact opted for preventive information and online advice, telling its users the best routes to take, depending on when they get into traffic.
An innovative concept and real efficiency that enabled Ma3Route to win the Pivot East Competition in 2013.
The start-up, which has more than 500,000 active users, secured funding of US $ 25,000 from a consortium of five investors on March 09, 2016 to fuel its expansion plans.
