To better relay the message to the actors who were invited to the Show, the PRATIC association in partnership with the Post and Electronic Telecommunications Regulatory Agency (ARPCE), organized on February 7, in Brazzaville, a meeting focused on the presentation of opportunities during the said Fair.

The main objective of this approach was to inform and encourage the various players to take part in this fair, which will revolve around major issues, namely: promoting the effects of digital technology for economic growth; create platforms for exchange and improve governance; establish new funding mechanisms; and finally, democratizing access to the Internet.

“PRATIC is organizing an information meeting today which will allow those in charge that we are, good information for our transformation”, explained the 1st Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Agriculture and Trades from Brazzaville, Dr Jean Galessami-Ibombo during his ad hoc speech.

The president of the association, Luc MISSIDIMBAZI, meanwhile, in his introductory remarks, presented to the participants the context and the economic opportunities relating to digital technology and innovation. “Today we have planned this meeting to invite you to come to Osiane, and our ICT sector is a sector where there are many opportunities to be seized,” he said.

During the meeting, the director of Osiane 2017, Dominique Dhello, informed the participants about the role of Osiane and its promoter, the association PRATIC; its training and structuring; the challenges of the digital industry and innovation; the objectives of the Show; the issues that will be addressed during the Show, as well as the activities that will be scheduled during Osiane 2017.

Recall that the PRATIC association, promoter of the “Osiane 2017” Fair has been organizing since 2008 many events such as the International Digital Symposium in Congo (SINUC) in 2010 and the 5th edition of teaching professionals and students from Congo ( SIPEEC), the last of which was in June 2015. In addition, the PRATIC association is celebrating its 9th anniversary in promoting ICT under the sign of innovation, excellence and expertise. It brings together ICT development actors in the Republic of Congo and Africa.
