(Agence Ecofin) – In preparation for the “TMT Finance Africa Lagos 2016 Conference” to be held in Lagos on September 20, which will bring together the main decision-makers in the telecom, media and technology sector (TMT), the South African banking group Standard Bank has established a partnership with the information and event service TMT Finance. This partnership will highlight the expertise and experience of TMT Finance and boost the digital sector in Africa.

This event, which will bring together more than sixty managers of some of the most active and innovative companies, takes place in a context where investment, innovation and the activity of mergers and acquisitions are accelerating in Africa , especially in Nigeria. “Investment and transactions in the TMT sector are not weakening in Africa, with many companies on the continent considering strategic options and benefiting from growth accompanied by various rounds of financing of vertical origin, by private debt , venture capital, M&A or IPO, “said Triantis.

Among the companies that will participate in this conference are IHS Towers, Airtel, Standard Bank, Etisalat, MTN, Vodacom, Africa Internet Group, Carlyle, and Standard Chartered PE.
