TrustYou, the world’s largest customer review management platform for hotels and restaurants, has just entered into a strategic alliance with digital marketing specialist for the hospitality and tourism industry, Rainmaker Digital. Objective: to strengthen its presence in southern Africa.

It is imperative to gain ground in a touristically promising sub-region like that of southern Africa. In short, this is the current leitmotif of TrustYou, the largest customer review management platform for hotels and restaurants around the world. The firm, which is headquartered in Munich (Germany), has just concluded a strategic alliance with the digital marketing specialist for the hotel and tourism industry based in Namibia, Rainmaker Digital, she announced in a statement made public. this Wednesday, April 19. The objective of this partnership is to allow TrustYou to strengthen its presence in southern Africa.

Trump Hotels in the client portfolio

The partnership with Rainmaker Digital – which in addition to its cutting-edge digital marketing techniques has more than seven years of in-depth research and participation in the hospitality and tourism sector of southern Africa – will further refine and clarify the TrustYou’s strategy in the sub-region.

Seize opportunities in a promising market

In terms of tourism in Africa, the southern sub-region has always stood out particularly with its iconic South Africa, which remains the preferred destination for tourists on the continent. The 2016 World Tourism Cities Index last November confirmed this again. The continental top 5 is made up of three South African cities, namely Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban. And according to a PwC study, the hotel market – boosted by tourism activity – should present better conditions over the next three years, with the number of available hotel rooms increasing by 0.8%. to 63,700 in 2020, as well as an increase in global hotel revenues of 7.8% per year to 20.6 billion in 2020, against 14.2 billion in 2015.

And even if South Africa remains the tourism juggernaut in the sub-region, all other countries remain very active in tourism and are increasingly entering the luxury hotel industry. This is notably the case of Madagascar, the Comoros Islands, Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe, to name but a few. It is therefore in all this dynamic that TrustYou wishes to participate.
