Boost your project

If you have a Social and Solidarity entrepreneurship project focused on Africa, you can apply for the North-South Entrepreneurship Prize. The goal is to reward innovative ideas, proposed in all sectors of activity (trade, services, crafts, agriculture …). Four prizes will be awarded, with the following mentions:

– The price of the diaspora

– The Impact Sud prize

– The price of the female entrepreneur

– The price of the public

The organizers of the Prize

The SIAD (International Service for Development Support) has existed since 1988 and has always been interested in supporting entrepreneurial initiatives in Africa. The strong demand for support for projects led by the diasporas led him to create the Cré’Afrique program in 2012: the latter organizes training sessions. From the idea to the project, from the setting up of the business plan to the realization through the search for financing, the project holder benefits from the competence of SIAD.

It was in 2014 that the latter, with its partner COFIDES Nord-Sud, decided to create Résonances Nord-Sud: a start-up accelerator that fits into the dynamics of the social and solidarity economy and that focuses on the interaction between Africa and Europe. It was the same year that the North-South Entrepreneurship Prize was launched.

They participated in previous editions…

The previous winners of this prize have benefited from it: Afrikréa has been able to bring together handcrafted products on its web platform to allow everyone to get to know original and unique creations. The site works very well and is a successful example!

Similarly, Baobab Entrepreneurship is another of the Prize winners: by creating the Concree platform, the collective decides to give young Senegalese entrepreneurs access to the tools to create their business. It is a great knowledge-sharing tool, which is now in contact with the CTIC incubator, located in Dakar.

You gain quality support

By participating in this award, you will gain the support of SIAD and COFIDES in setting up your project! You will join the new promotion of Résonances Nord-Sud, alongside these entrepreneurs who do tomorrow!

For example, this is one of the reasons that prompted Clarisse Bonzia to be accompanied by SIAD and COFIDES: “I was fortunate to have access to the financial training offered by COFIDES. Today, I feel more confident and armed to complete my project thanks to this training. Likewise, for Thomas Glantenay, integrating Résonances with his musical project Kélé makes it possible to: “draw one after the other, the” positive “portrait of the countries of the African continent, through events mixing boutique of African design products contemporary, music / concert, gastronomy, workshops / conference… ”.

You too, embark on the adventure of entrepreneurship to change lives!

CEO AfrikaTech

Rejoignez-nous ! LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/boubacardiallo
