Kenyan millionaire Mubarak Mukiya who turned down one from Harvard

Mubarak Mukiya is a Kenyan entrepreneur, already a millionaire at the age of 20. He became an orphan at the age of ten, and then settled with his aunt and uncle, the owner of a publishing house, Acrodile Publishers.

Mubarak Muyika noted that his aunt had difficulty attracting clients due to a lack of resources. Seeing the impact this has on the business, he decides to learn how to design a website. This idea turned out to be very successful, he managed to create a site for his aunt’s business.

Seeing his potential, a Kenyan millionaire recommended the young man to Harvard University for a scholarship but the young entrepreneur was not interested and preferred to put his skills at the service of his country.

He will therefore found in 2012, his company Hype Century Technologies and Investment, a website design and domain name management company. He was able to found this company thanks to the money he collected from his freelance assignments. He starts alone and then hires two classmates.
