Hotels.ng, Nigeria’s biggest online booking agency, has announced the launch of the 4th edition of the bi-annual HNG Remote Internship program. This edition which is bigger than all others before it, will see young developers and designers from all over Africa get trained. To get this done, Hotels.ng partnered with Oracle, Figma and Bluechip Technologies.

The HNG Remote internship which is geared at training beginner to intermediate level software developers and UI/UX designers, began in 2016. This internship program affords its participants an opportunity to learn by designing and building software that enhance business solutions to tackle real world problems at scale. The participants in turn build skills that are valuable in the workplace and earn while at it.

The company’s CEO, Mark Essien, started the internship because he believes in the growth of talent with the right opportunities. He revealed this edition of the HNG Remote Internship, on his Twitter page, to be Pan-African, and he invited every young developer across the continent to participate. This came shortly after the launch of the company’s international hotel booking and flight booking website, hotel.africa and fly.africa respectively, earlier in January.

Apart from this year’s edition being Pan-African, it received massive support from two major players in the global tech and software industry; Figma Inc, a design SAAS company in San-Francisco, and Oracle, a multinational IT company. Both companies are happy to be partners and lend their assistance and mentorship to the participants.

The HNG Remote Internship currently has over 1500 participants, and is still accepting more. All beginner to intermediate software developers and UI/UX designers are welcome to join the life and career changing program via this link: http://bit.ly/2HDqzX9

Since the program’s launch in 2016, it has trained over 4000 developers and UI/UX designers since it began, and placed all the finalists in jobs within 1 month of completion.

CEO AfrikaTech

Rejoignez-nous ! LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/boubacardiallo
