Gabrielle Ève Sokeng is a young woman entrepreneur. She is the co-founder of Wery ”(We Represent You), a public relations management agency in Dakar, she is also the founder of Aza mag! This magazine is her little gem, it is a magazine that aims to enhance and promote women and female entrepreneurship.

H: You have many editors as I saw on your site (www.aza-mag.com/le-mag), you define your magazine as being a “bimonthly digital business magazine which aims to promote female entrepreneurship ”. Tell me more!
È: Yes, we have 11 editors altogether, for the site and the mag combined. My vision for AZA MAG is to make it a full-fledged media with an editorial staff based in Dakar with correspondents all over Africa who also produce web shows entirely dedicated to African women entrepreneurs.
H: Could you tell me more?
È: You are not a woman but you seem as interested as the ones we got to interview!
H: I fully embrace my share of femininity.
È: (laughs) Since you care and we’re not here, just to joke:
AZA MAG is aimed at modern, connected women between the ages of 18 and 70, interested in discovering African entrepreneurial trends. They are staunch defenders of Africa and claim their African culture. They are owners, managers, business professionals or future business leaders. They believe in the economic take-off of the African continent and have decided to play a major role there.
È: Yes, the editors of the magazine are young women journalists or communicators living in several countries: Ghana, Guinea Conakry, Senegal, Cameroon, Canada, Ivory Coast, Congo, Comoros, Benin, Mauritania, Morocco and Gabon for the moment .
H: As I read in Aifa, one of the chronicles written by Mariama Adelia Leye Desplats: thanks to your bewitching charms and your determination, you will be able to go “take the moon with your teeth”!
È: And the sun with it! Thank you very much for your support and your interest in our cause.
Fortunately, Aifa is doing much better since leaving her husband, but she is still struggling to get her children back. In this column, we want to push women to claim their personalities and fight to get out of situations that inconvenience them and prevent them from achieving their dreams.
H: Yes this story is very inspiring for all of us, men and women. Indeed, you have to be ready to do anything to become what you MUST be even if it means “tempting the Devil”
È: Exactly, that’s why our magazine is so multi-faceted. Apart from the sections devoted to African culture and well-being, we also plan to organize themed events in major African capitals such as the “Ladies Talk” and the BWEN.
