(Agence Ecofin) – The jury for the pan-African event Africa Telecom People (ATP) has just published the shortlist of telecommunications and ICT players eligible for the prestigious ATP Awards which will be awarded on October 9.

This eleventh edition will see the distinction of 7 personalities and / or companies who will have left their mark on the world of telecommunications in Africa during this year 2015. Awarded since 2004, the ATP Awards are the oldest distinction which consecrates in Africa the best players in the sector.

Here is the list of nominees likely to win an ATP Awards during the ceremony which will take place on Thursday 08 October 2015 at 4 p.m., in the village hall of the Sofitel Hotel Ivoire in Abidjan:

 

 

 

In addition to these trophies, 4 other specials awarded by the jury in the following categories:

1- Best development initiative

2- Best public initiative

3- Best private initiative

4- Best Manager

About Africa Telecom People

Africa Telecom People (ATP) is in its 11th edition and will take place on October 08 and 09 in Abidjan. It is a forum initiated by the Pan-African magazine Reseau Telecom Network and which brings together more than 2,000 people each year. The central theme of the 2015 edition is: “E-commerce in Africa, 2015 the year of take-off? ”
