The Ivorian authorities believe that the construction of the fourth government-licensed cable will improve the country’s international connectivity and bring much more opportunity to the local market while increasing competitiveness. “We have just made a significant move through this authorization for the improvement of our country’s telecommunications infrastructure and in particular, the improvement of international connectivity. This cable will have an impact on prices and quality and will strengthen the security of our infrastructure, “said Minister Bruno Koné.
The introduction of the tenor, a provider of open access connectivity services, will further democratize the international bandwidth market in Ivory Coast and neighboring countries and lower bandwidth costs for broadband. local internet service providers, mobile operators or Telcos and local businesses.
