Published on Youtube, AfricanGeek is a web series produced by Douglas Mbiandou a digital entrepreneur. Aimed at raising awareness among African youth, the series offers inspiring themes in a comical tone that can inspire entrepreneurship in the digital field.
Several episodes such as “Footballer’s Dream” or “The Crazy Computer Teacher” are available on the web. Part of a larger vision, #AfricainGeek is an instrument used by Douglas Mbiandou to ensure the success of a business close to his heart.
By 2025, the digital entrepreneur has the ambition to train 10,000 computer scientists in Africa thanks to Objis, his computer training center. He dreams of creating the future generation that will ensure the succession and the challenges of using digital in Africa. Based in Côte d’Ivoire, Congo and Senegal, the social impact of this structure could, as its founder wanted, push African institutions to create a real framework for IT jobs.
