Giraffe or how to constantly look for a job in South Africa

South African Shafin Anwarsha designed Giraffe, a platform to significantly reduce unemployment by facilitating access to job opportunities for young graduates and unemployed adults.

Job seekers can register on the platform by sending an SMS via their mobile phone or by visiting the Giraffe website. They then answer a series of questions, and complete a number of user formalities, including sending a digital CV. As soon as employers post offers, the platform system immediately lists the relevant profiles and alerts them to the opportunity. If they accept the job interview, their previously communicated digital CVs are automatically sent to the employer.
