RIDTECH is among the Guinean start-ups that are shaking up codes a little more every day and are making a name for themselves on the continental scene. Recently winner of the first prize during Digital Week, let’s take a closer look at the exploits achieved by this start-up incubated at SabouTech. In just three years of existence, RIDTECH has collaborated with around thirty companies across Guinea, working in the fields of computer graphics, web development, and game design. The start-up has recently created ” African Heroes ” a 3D video game which aims to enhance Guinean culture and which won it the first prize during the National Week of Entrepreneurship in Digital (SNEN ). But not only that, she also won 1st prize in the Total Startupper competition; Pitch Hub Africa and will soon release the first version of the game. It is important to note that SNEN is the largest digital event in Guinea. Organized each year by the Ministry of Telecommunications and Digital Economy in collaboration with the Agency for the Promotion of Private Investments, this 4th edition of the SNEN, after the success of the previous editions, placed under the theme “Our Digital Revolution” was held in Conakry from June 11 to 14, 2019. The three winning projects of this edition are: 1st Prize: African Hereos is a 3D adventure video game from Guinea and the sub-region. 2nd Prize: Kunfabo is a low cost African smartphone with purely African applications. 3rd Prize: Labitani is a computerized system enabling the patient’s circuit from the first hospitalization to discharge.
