(TIC Mag) – On January 30, 2017, Google announced the winners of its annual competition dubbed Google Code, 2016 edition. Bamenda high school which also becomes the first African to win this competition.
The Google Code is a competition for pre-university students aged 13 to 17. In principle, they are invited by Google to try to pirate open source software, in order to detect security holes and improve the security of this software.
As provided for in the competition, Collins Nji will travel to Google’s US headquarters to meet with the Google Open Source team and other members of the Google Software Engineering team for a tour of Silicon Valley.
