Seedstars World, the largest start-up start-up competition for emerging markets, has pre-selected. With support from local host Sonatel, Seedstars World will host a pitch event on September 7th to select the best startup in the country.
In addition to representing the country at the regional summit of Seedstars, the winner will win an all-inclusive trip to Switzerland to participate in the Seedstars Summit for the title of Seedstars Global Winner and up to $ 1 million in investments and other prizes.

Senegal was previously represented by Ma Tontine with its innovative solution to provide access to small loans and microinsurance by digitizing traditional savings circles.

The best startups who enter the finals are:

Lives: puts forward peoples, cultures and more specifically African cities. new ways to explore them by finding the right plan and the best activities.

Loyset: solves one of Senegal’s big problems, namely the loss of documents such as identity cards, passports, bank cards, etc. With the help of the app and partners.

mTick: is a simple platform that allows customers to get their ticket with or without internet and pay by mobile phone in Africa.

MusikBi: is an application whose main objective is the promotion of the entertainment industry and the media via digital platforms.

OniriQ: is a French-Senegalese startup that allows off-grid African populations access to solar energy and digital content.

Paps: is an urban logistics service for Africa-based businesses and retailers who need to collect or ship parcels across the country.

Townpay: Enables municipalities to leverage more revenue by digitizing local tax collection and financially including merchants.

Sunubus: is a collaborative and predictive mobile application (with artificial intelligence) of bus and transport lines.

Shopkeepers in Dakar, laptops are no longer used to track the debts of their customers, they rather keep them on the weebi tablet.

Seedstars World works closely with Concree to provide the best possible event and provide this opportunity to local entrepreneurs.
