The government communication unit informs that the Minister of Digital Economy and the Post, Pastor Ngoua N’Neme should take part in the symposium on indicators of Information and Communication Technologies (Tic) scheduled from November 30 to December 02 next in Japan.
Indeed, the city of Hiroshima will host this symposium and the annual conference of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) on statistics, which will be attended by ministers and eminent specialists who will debate strategies likely to put the Technologies of information and communication for socio-economic development.
The ITU publishes the database on the most commonly used technologies in the world, as well as an annual reference report entitled “Measuring the Information Society”. The 2015 edition of this report, which ranks countries according to a basket of ICT-related statistical indicators, will be published at a press conference on Monday, November 30.
