The Senegalese electronics engineer Serigne Mactar BA has been building and manufacturing rockets since 2000 with local materials.
Skimikamiya-30P, the most recent series of these devices developed in 2010 at a range of approximately 14 km in ballistic flight. In vertical flight, it would reach a distance between 5 and 6 km.
The ramp of the experimental machine consists of a jack (screw device placed under loads to lift them on a short stroke or to support them) which allows launch angles varying between 0 degree to 90 degree with a rotation of 360 degree possible.
Its rockets can be exploited in the rapid transport of insecticides or to embark devices used for taking measurements and cameras in mapping.
At present, the spacecraft of the Senegalese engineer has reached a level of performance which makes it possible to project possible industrial production.
Note that the research and design of its rockets have been fully funded by the Senegalese electronics engineer for 10 years.
