While in 4th year of business school, Yorrick Saint-Louis realized the complexity of buying West Indian products in France and especially outside the Ile de France. The lack of accessibility to these products and the emergence of online commerce therefore led him to launch lamaisondesantilles.com
Since 2011, when the company and its warehouse were based at its home, La maison des Antilles has offered many fine grocery products for sale. The main customers are above all individuals, works councils but also since 2015 catering and trade professionals.
Announcement of an upcoming fundraiser
Recently incubated, the startup now has 8 people working on strategy, operational and logistics. With a turnover of 200K €, La maison des Antilles is currently finalizing a fundraising to accelerate its development in France but also internationally (United Kingdom, Germany ..). To do this, a new website will go online in September where customers can benefit from a 48-hour delivery time, reduced shipping costs and of course new products and services.
