The Africa Development Club, of the Attijariwafa bank group, is launching a call for applications for the “Young Entrepreneurs Trophies”. This competition, open until March 6, 2017, is part of the organization of the fifth edition of the Africa Development International Forum scheduled for March 16 and 17. Through this event, the Attijariwafa bank group aims to reward the ambition and dynamism of young entrepreneurs on an African scale. The trophies are organized around three prizes. The first, “Entrepreneurship for innovation” is intended for start-ups, entrepreneurs or project leaders who can demonstrate an ability to provide any new form of innovation in all fields and all technologies. The second, “Social entrepreneurship” concerns proposals for social projects carried out by associations, start-ups, or companies aimed at promoting inclusion and social development. As for the third, “Entrepreneurship for sustainable development”, it is aimed at entrepreneurs, green tech start-ups, or project leaders that are part of a sustainable development process.
This through the creation or use of products and services with a positive environmental impact. After a pre-selection phase allowing 3 finalists to be designated per category, the winners of each prize will be chosen during a deliberation meeting scheduled for March 15. The winners will benefit from a companion pack to help them grow. The 3 finalists in each category will be invited to attend the fifth edition of the Africa Development International Forum.
