With the Educational Impact Award, Vivo Energy, the company that distributes and markets Shell products., Has distinguished and encouraged young people with environmental projects. Indeed, the Educational Impact Award is a key project in favor of education oriented towards environmental protection. After two months of challenges, including the management of garbage from high schools and universities, it was awarded to the two best projects in each category. The members of the jury were won over by young high school and university students through their following projects: Ecole ’ÉcoleVerte Project’ ’from Lycée Wouro de Labé for the Lycée category won the GNF 15,000,000. And this, thanks to the ingenuity of the young students who amazed the jury of Vivo Energy by planning the sanitation of the city with the installation of a laboratory for recycling waste and bins at strategic points. Mak ’Maktic-Use’ ’project of Kindia University for the University category raised 15,000,000 GNF with a Web and Mobile application, GSM for home waste management. It will be up to the incubator SabouTech, partner of Vivo Energy, to support them in the development of their solution. It is important to underline that for a harmonious and inclusive development of Guinea, a change is essential on all the levels and the preservation of the environment is essential. This is why, seeing so many new innovative projects going in this direction, we can have good hope for the future of the country.
