One of the leaders of the ICT market in Senegal is going to drop off his bags at the Information Technology and Biotechnology Village (VITIB) in Grand Bassam. Chaka Card Côte d´Ivoire will be the first approved company of the year 2016 in the Free Zone.
The Chaka group subsidiary will therefore be the 25th company with a turnover of more than 400 million FCFA to set up in the free zone. It will in particular benefit from tax and customs advantages, as well as opportunities relating to the development of the area.
According to a press release published by the communication service of VITIB, the company has for project in free zone, the personalization of bank cards, the development of biometric identification solutions, the installation of a call center and a Data Center for the West African market.
Chaka is also committed to creating more than 300 direct jobs in Côte d’Ivoire and investing more than 1.5 billion FCA in the Free Zone of Biotechnology, Information and Communication Technologies (ZBTIC).
