The first back-to-school meeting with African Tech will take place on September 5, 2017 at Medef and will be offered to you by Afrobytes and its partner CcHUB, the first Nigerian incubator based in Lagos.

After London, Amsterdam, Berlin and Zurich, Paris will be the last stop of “PitchDrive”, a European tour during which a selection of 14 fast-growing African startups from the continent’s most dynamic markets aim to raise 20 million. euros from European investors.

Among the startups present, six come from Nigeria: Prepclass, Tradedepot, Piggybank, Gloo, Lifebank, and Fashpa. The selection, resolutely Pan-African, will also make it possible to discover the Ugandan digital ecosystems with Clinicmaster, South Africans with GoMetro, Ethiopians with Gebeya, Ghanaians with Kudobuzz, Kenyans with Ongair and Zimbabweans with BitFinance and Real Food. Francophone Africa will also be represented by the Senegalese startup Firefly Media.

After the startups pitch session (reserved for investors only), two expert panels will allow you to draw inspiration from the latest trends in the African Tech ecosystem. A networking session will follow and will offer you a new opportunity to expand your network and meet your future strategic partners. You will meet the talented founders of these 14 startups with whom you will be able to discuss fields such as FinTech, FoodTech, Artificial Intelligence, E-commerce, ITS (Intelligent transportation system), the digital transformation of retail African and many other themes …
