Billionaire Aliko Dangote, in collaboration with former President of Nigeria Olusegun Obasanjo, will give a boost to African start-ups. They signed an agreement with the Duke of York to launch the African Entrepreneurship Program (AEP).
The ASP will be a joint initiative of the World Investment Summit in Africa with the support of Pitch @ Palace. It is a program that aims to connect African entrepreneurs and start-ups, especially those who need capital and mentorship, with potential investors.
Young entrepreneurs and program start-ups will present their business ideas to potential investors at the World Investment Summit in Africa this year, with the three most talented entrepreneurs chosen to present their proposals for business at the Duke of York pitch @ palace which will take place in London on December 1 and 2, 2015.
