The message of the initiators of the Faso Soap project has passed. Indeed, the 100,000 lives crowdfunding campaign, launched on the Ulule platform, exceeds all the expectations of Gérard Niyondiko and Moctar Dembélé. While the latter had set the funding target at 30,000 euros, to be reached no later than May 21, the project received more than 70,000 euros.
As the creators of Faso Soap had announced, with a sum of more than 60,000 euros, the soap could be tested in real conditions to validate the impact of its use. The fact that the project was 236% funded demonstrates the enthusiasm for this anti-malarial soap.
Finally, the finalization of the Faso Soap project will certainly save more than 100,000 lives, when we know that malaria kills 1,000,000 people worldwide every year.
