Fabrice Alomo, a 22-year-old Cameroonian, has designed a pragmatic web platform, which re-imagines how to shop online. MyAconect offers a framework for exchanges between small local businesses that represent the supply and demand expressed by the public.
The objective of this reorganization of trade is to provide precise solutions to the contextual difficulties of Africa, the unbanking of a large portion of the population for example. AMoney is one of the solutions developed. It allows MyAconect users to sell and buy products without an account or credit card.
Fabrice Alomo’s team consists of 9 people. The group’s vision is displayed on the platform in these terms: “We are re-imagining how and where people buy and sell using mobile and web devices. We connect sellers and customers. We are breaking the banking bureaucracy. We solve bad urban addressing systems with a sophisticated and elegant mapping system. With that, our deliveries are made in a few minutes ”.
