The Bamako International Conference Center (CICB) will host the third edition of the Salon of Young Entrepreneurs of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (SAJE-UEMOA) area from 23 to 27 April 2016. The inaugural conference will be moderated by Moussa Mara, former Malian Prime Minister and chartered accountant.
With the ambition to foster the emergence of a new generation of dynamic entrepreneurs concerned with the development of their activities and their countries, the Salon of young entrepreneurs from the West African Economic and Monetary Union area is a framework meeting, reflection and networking for young entrepreneurs.
According to Mr. Drissa Coulibaly the president of the organizing committee, ‘the fair will connect seasoned entrepreneurs, budding entrepreneurs, employment support agencies, institutional partners, structures and accompanying organizations, entrepreneurs, universities for sharing experiences and opportunities’.
It should be noted that this third edition of the Salon of young entrepreneurs in the West African Economic and Monetary Union zone will dedicate day to female entrepreneurship and enrollment in the program of “universities of entrepreneurship”.
This day will be the fruit of a partnership between SAJE-UEMOA and the Malian Ministry for the Promotion of the Family, Women and Children and other partners in support of women’s entrepreneurship.
With the support of the Ministry of Higher Education, the ‘universities of entrepreneurship’ project aims to offer young students and graduates the opportunity to follow lectures and activities enabling them to discover the world of entrepreneurship and determine their choice for business.
‘The funding of young entrepreneurship and the growth of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises’, this is the theme chosen for this third edition of SAJE-UEMOA in order to allow reflection on innovative solutions and actions that can facilitate access to news companies and SMEs to finance from their creation and during all stages of their development.
